Commercial flooring case studies

In 2016, we were commissioned to transform the foyer at Birmingham City Church, a busy community space welcoming thousands of visitors each year. The chosen flooring was Expona Commercial LVT, specified for its durability, modern design options, and ease of maintenance in high-traffic environments.
Covering 220m², the installation not only enhanced the aesthetics of the foyer but also provided a hard-wearing surface capable of withstanding the daily footfall of a vibrant city centre venue. The result was a professional, long-lasting finish that complemented the building’s contemporary interior while delivering excellent performance.

In 2024, we completed the refurbishment of the communal entrance areas on both the East and West sides of The Cube, Birmingham. The chosen flooring was Polyflor Affinity 255 LVT, selected for its contemporary wood tones and outstanding durability in heavy-use environments.
Working in a live residential and commercial building, we implemented a minimal tenant disturbance action plan, coordinating works with management to ensure smooth access at all times. This included temporary lift and fire escape rerouting, allowing us to deliver a seamless installation without disruption to residents or businesses. The result was a smart, hard-wearing finish that elevated the entrances of one of Birmingham’s most iconic buildings.
